Hi, Most of you know I like to ride a bike a fair bit… and I think at least some of you know I have trouble with depression. My plan is to increase awareness of mental health problems and to raise money for YoungMinds by riding the Haute Route Pyrenees. YoungMinds is a charity that helps young people that are having trouble with their mental health. Any donations would be greatly appreciated, but I also appreciate that there are lots of good causes out there, so no stress about coughing up some dollar. Maybe just take a moment to think about mental health, or have an open conversation with someone about depression, for example. Many more people suffer with their mental health than many of us realise. Depression is something a lot of people quietly live with and try to deal with themselves, some more successfully than others unfortunately. Having said that I’ve left fundraising about as late as the training (only a few weeks to go!) so donations would always be welcome. Look after yourselves. www.justgiving.com/fundraising/CyclingForYoungMindsIn memory of Tom x
