Hi Women of DP Just wanted to do a straw poll to see how many members of LWR we have on the forum! Are you registered and racing? If so post up and say hello! There are some amazing prizes to be won this year, and with the TT league in full swing and the road & crit league about to kick off, let us know where you're going, and who you're going with so we can all get to know each other. Don't forget, DP is registered with LWR (so you pay diddly squat!) but you have to register your details to count for points....which essentially means prizes. LWR is aimed at novice riders. www.londonwomensracing.co.ukSo, who is lurking out there?! Beth (Women's Secretary and LWR Chair)

Me me me for TT. I did the LWR TT yesterday and it was brilliant. Good range of rider too - so if you're fast, medium or something else, it's good fun. I'll be doing the 23rd April LWR TT. We had 5 dulwich ladies yesterday - hopefully more in April!

And don't forget the third SERRL 3/4 race is on the LWR calendar, so why not race on the 9th in prep for LWR round 5 Sophie have you got in touch with your race training group at all since the winter training? Cheers!

DP didnt just take part yesterday; we placed across the categories: Katie was 3rd in top category Aero1, I was 2nd place in Aero2, Jacintha won Road bike category and Alex was 3rd and Katia won the road bike vets! We're leading on the series team points at the moment!

The step I think is getting us together and training / having fun/ team bonding...do you agree?
Also, choosing friendly cat 3/4 races or cat 4 only races is an excellent place to start (like the LWR calendar). So don't worry about the first race too much, just find one that is easy to get to and perhaps on a circuit you already know, and with some friends who are going.

I'm in too! Did the TT last weekend and will be doing the first LWR crit at Hog Hill in a few weeks.

Hello
I have just joined DP this week and I am very excited in getting more involved in LWR races etc. I did the TT on the weekend, and loved it, my first TT ever it was a great experience. I have signed up for HogHill.

I'm in but only for the TTs. I may race some of the LWR crits etc. but it'll be entirely coincidental because I'm a 2nd cat and mostly I'll be at the velodrome this year.

Bit of a late reply to this thread from me! I have just joined DP and looking forward to getting into some racing this year. Had a race on Sunday in Fakenham which was great fun. Have signed up to the LRW league now, hoping to see you all sometime soon

Anyone going to Hillingdon for Race 3 of LWR tomorrow? I am scoring tomorrow so I might drive and if so feel free to get in touch regarding a lift!

Somehow I managed to sign up for marshalling this instead of racing it .... so I'll be there supporting you I suppose ;-)

Sophie if you have a bike (?!) I could potentially take your marshalling spot so you could enter..?
