Bedgebury 6 hour endurance MTB race

This Saturday sees the yearly Bedgebury Forest 6 hour endurance race put on by the Bedgebury Boars - There is Solo and Teams entry available (2, 3 and 4 rider teams), and the weather is looking to be a bit cooler than the current heatwave, so it should be a good day.

It was a great race, even if it was a bit wet for a while, it's surprising how quickly six hours goes by when all you're doing is either racing, or downing as much cake and chocolate as is physically possible. We managed to win the pairs race to our surprise, there were a couple of guys from a Tri club who were super quick, so pleasantly surprised there.



Big shout out to you Pete, finishing six hour solo is quite a feat, I'm not sure I would have had the psychological strength to go through with that - it's such a technical course that's pretty much all on a hill, so the amount of climbing done in six hours is pretty serious, well done!
