From Gary's email Here is the route, remember it is slightly different to the Dunwich Dynamo route, for safety reasons: ridewithgps.com/routes/27708868DUNWICH DAYLIGHT ridewithgps.com 200KM FOLLOWING (A VERSION) OF THE 'CLASSIC' DUNWICH DYNAMO ROUTE. -- 199.8 km, +1388 m. Starts in London, England We need to start early - the transport is booked to arrive at 1830 at Dunwich Beach and hopefully we’ll be on our way home by around 1900. The start will be staggered thus: 1) DULWICH PARK GATES tinyurl.com/yartlhte 0550 for 0600 depart for riders coming from the SE20s and SW. This section to be led by STEVE SORBA. This group will stop to pick up members joining at … 2) BERMONDSEY SQUARE tinyurl.com/y8u3o8cu 0620 for 0630 depart for riders from C and S London. Both groups then move on to 3) below... 3) SAM’S CAFE, 292 BETHNAL GREEN ROAD E1 0AG tinyurl.com/ybrh8k9n 0650 for 0700 grand depart. Some of us plan to be at the cafe shortly after it opens at 0600 for breakfast: everyone welcome to join. We won't wait (long) for late-comers. You’ll all have the route, so if you miss the start you’ll just have to catch up.

Little update following my minor spill on the way to Dunwich, I took myself to the hospital last night where they cleaned and dressed my wound and booked me in with the 'plastics' team at St Thomas for this morning. Got a bunch of stitches and been told not to do anything strenuous for the next 2 weeks, but other than that and a bit of bruising, I'll be fine. To the guys who gave me bits of clothing to protect my wound (and my modesty) I'll be in touch to return these.

Here are a couple of pics from yesterday's ride. Thanks v.much to DJB & Gary for organising it, it was a great day out & well worth the brain-fade this afternoon (I was useless). PS: D, I'm glad to hear your crash damage is only superficial!

I would like to add my thanks to DJB, Gary and everyone else involved in organising the ride - a fantastic day out.
Also thanks to those I was riding with; in particular for patience with the late puncture and failing legs!

I thought it was a great day - thanks to all. It also seemed that the majority of the essex roads were in a much better state of repair than kent, silky smooth...
