Hi All, We are looking to get the women's skills training up and running and have the option to run a session with Jen at Hog Hill on the afternoon of the 28th May 2-4:30. However, for this session to happen we need around a minimum of 8 people. If you want to come along - could you let me know in the thread below (it is the bank holiday weekend)? I need to gauge numbers before booking both Jen's time and the track time. This session will be about general bike handling skills and is open to all our women members. It doesn't matter about fitness the focus is on skills (and we'll fit in some puncture repair) to enable everyone to better enjoy riding and our group rides. We will plan a second session for a weekend in June too - date tbc. Sign up link now available - please sign up to attend the session using the Rider HQ link below. There is a small charge of £5. *** *** www.riderhq.com/events/79143/womens-summer-skills-training--hog-hill *** Many thanks! Emma Ps I'll be driving down and as the cafe will be closed at 1pm I'll do what I can to borrow some flasks and bring coffee and tea (and suncream if it's hot) and will also bring some biscuits, banana, cake, etc. If anyone has any specific dietary needs then let me know!

Hi all - just to confirm the track is booked and this is going ahead on Monday 28 May - an email will be going out shortly with details of how to book your place.
For those of you who can't make it, a June day will be fixed shortly!

I've signed up as well! Since we're doing puncture repair: can we cover how to use CO2 canisters? I'm ready to give up faffing around with mini-pumps!
How are people planning to get there? TfL rail is not running this weekend. Can take the district line from Blackfriars to Dagenham Heathway (bikes allowed!) and cycle the last 5 miles, or cycle the whole way?

Ok Linda - noted on the CO2 canisters usage! I'll be driving down from Warwickshire so won't be with you all on the train.

Hey Linda et all I’m tempted to cycle there from Dulwich. Will have a look at the route but it should be fairly straight forward. Fancy joining? Katia

I would be in for cycling from Dulwich.
Apparently there are no trains running tomorrow, but there is a replacement bus?
