Powerful video presentation of the effects of air pollution on our lungs. youtu.be/L3gDGTjc_u0 Dr Arvind Kumar at WHO presents so well, he starts 2 minutes after Molly.

So depressing. And agree it seems we neee the pollution equivalent of a turtle with a plastic straw stuck in its nose to land the message... Until then - one thing worth knowing is how localised pollution tends to be. If you live, cycle and walk even just a few metres away from main roads you’ll dramatically reduce your exposure. (Or travel in early in the morning). Check out your area / commute here: www.londonair.org.uk/london/asp/annualmaps.asp18 months ago I sold my car because of this. I’ve been amazed at how little I’ve missed it. Also shout out to Aaron the cycling electrician - uses an enumeration to prove that trades people don’t need to rely on vans. He’s lovely and good. Give him some support!

Good tip about cycling early in the morning...I hadn't thought about that benefit. And with it being so localised, really makes the point that people should turn off their cars when at level crossings etc else the people who live next to them constantly have higher localised pollution
