Hi everyone We’ve had this communication from Andy Edwards, Kingston Wheelers. I think he’s produced an excellent report and I would like to know what you all think. Have a read, go to the social, post up and we’ll discuss at the next committee meeting. quote Over the past few months, I have helped put together a report called DIVERSITY IN CYCLING which considers the lack of riders from Black And Minority Ethnic (BAME) background in the sport, with a focus on cycling clubs/ grass roots. The report is supported by British Cycling and shall be released on Tuesday 18 June. This was a collaborative effort with over 60 riders from BAME backgrounds contributing. I would like to make an advance copy available to you via the link below. Please take a look and let me know what you think. While there are challenges, the report also details positive experiences and recommendations (with little or no cost) to improve diversity and inclusion in cycling. DIVERSITY IN CYCLING - THE FINAL REPORT drive.google.com/open?id=1TNug_pi_h4-679SFoqmHadXH5jqwYt8mTo coincide with the release of the report, we are running a DIVERSITY IN CYCLING event at Look Mum No Hands on Monday 24th June from 6:30pm.
