Just to let folks know that we're now allowed to offer B&B rates (Spanish paperwork)
Rates start from £65 per person - and we can offer very competitive bike hire rates to club members and usually a discount too.
For those after a cheap week - if you book in advance car hire from the airport can cost as little as 30€ a week and return flights for less then £75
Alternatively, we can offer a full-service package - including transfer, half board, bike hire and much more. We have a range of scheduled weeks running all through the year and hope to be hosting more Paragon riders.
Give me a shout if you have any questions, are visiting the area and just want the best GPX routes or if there's anything else you want to know about the region.
Awesome! I'd say more of the local ride MTBs than road and theres a strong race scene too. Essentially there's miles and miles of gravel roads that link with lots of single track in the National PArks and mountains. .
To the north we've got the Serra Gross mountsin, Serra Enguera north of that. South Serra Agullent, Ombria de Benicadel and Serra Mariola and Font Roja parks to the south and whole lot of stuff inbetween. I can do multiples climb straight from the Finca to 1000m! I've not had time to touch the side of it yet.
There's a DH Bike Park too - although I've not been as those days are behind me. It's called La Fenisosa and they do uplift services.
We're working on a gravel package and we've got friends in the area that have just moved here and are setting up a mountain bike retreat.
In town , we've shops that sell tonnes of e-MTBs and high end stuff from Mondraker, Orbea, Giant, Scott and Specialised. Getting hire eMTBs is also easy. We've had customers take Scott eSparks for a week.
The locals mostly ride MTB in lycra too - not baggie like Surrey Holls and UK in general.
