Selle SMP saddles - any good?

Kinda what the title says.

I'm looking to get something a little more 'friendly' in the way of a new saddle and was wondering if anyone here had any experience with these weird seeming items..?

Have a few friends who have tried them - all without fail have gone on to something else.

Have a look at Specialized options like the Phenom, in the correct width for your ass!

Good information. and the cycle mag's agree with you ;-) As for sizing, I was suspecting that I'd need a 155mm :-o

But then in a rush of logic I measured my current Fizik saddle, and it comes to 135mm at the widest point 8-o

So I can get a test Phenom on ebay for cheap instead paying through the nose for a Selle.

if you can make to a specialized dealer, they should have test saddles I think.

Contrary to above, I'm sold on the odd design of the selle smp. Solved all my issues with regular saddles...
