RICKEEEEY!!!! I was thinking of instituting a special (occasional) off-road wednesday ride, with lights (obviously) for exploring bridleways and stuff.
Last year's saturday sessions tended to stick to commons and parks (mostly Mitcham and Norwood Country Park) so we could work on specific cross skills like going over barriers, and going round dead turns, riding off-cambers etc.
Also, they were quite short - under 90mins from Palace and back - as everyone tends to race the following day so don't want to ride too far.

I'd be up for a bit of Weds evening shenanigans on the common. ooh err missus! Ahem.
Not sure how safe i'd be though, can barely ride the cross bike in light! Are you thinking of doing this tomorrow?
Either way, is there are one this Saturday? If so how long are you doing (racing sunday and need to spend some time with the family!)? 90mins would be perfect.

Saturday - let's do it. We were meeting at 10am at the cafe last year to allow for a good night's sleep (essential if you're racing sunday) and to save any confusion for saturday ride stragglers. Girls and newbies, this is a good opportunity to get some off road practise in - it's very much about skills rather than fitness so there's no chance of getting dropped, and experienced riders will be on hand to help show you how to improve technique. So, 10 saturday morning at the cafe, back around 11.30, who's coming?

I'd be keen to do Wednesdays, if anyone is keen tonight, otherwise I'll go on Wednesday Chainy. Re Saturday's, also keen, but have a wedding this weekend so need to do an early morning ride.

I've gone and bought myself a cyclocross bike so I might show up for this. I'm confused though... is it 9:30 as David suggested or 10:00 as Andy suggested?
