Looking to replace a smashed up Dura Ace 7850 C50 clincher front wheel but can't find a replacement anywhere as its out of production & wary about buying from ebay etc. I really don't want to buy a whole new wheelset but it is looking increasingly likely. They are a great set of wheels but the only set of race wheels I've owned so don't have much to compare them with. The more up to date model is on wiggle with a good discount so may opt for them. www.wiggle.co.uk/shimano-dura-ace-9000-c50-clincher-wheelset-2014/Any advice on alternatives around this price mark appreciated.

I've just taken a punt on some Wheelsmith Aero50s. I'll let you know what I think when they've arrived.

Get in touch with Le Bicycle as they are building some pretty sweet 60mm wheels for about that price by memory. I'd usually recommend Pete at Rat Race as well but I am not aware that he is building deep section wheels.

Have the hand built Wheelsmith Aero 50s also - they're brilliant and great value for money.
Only problem is that the word has got out about these, and Derek often seems to have a backlog of orders so you might have to wait a few weeks/months

I've been advised 2-3 weeks by Wheelsmith. A week or so to go before delivery! Can't wait!
