Hello, the first session I can make will be the 22nd Oct. Is it possible to do an induction at 7pm before this session too? Or will an induction only be possible prior to the sessions on the 1st/8th Oct? Many thanks! A

As it says - there will be an induction before every Intermediate session (if necessary) Original post amended to make that clearer.

Really brilliant session today (even though I bonked 3/4 of the way through and eventually gave in 10mins before the end). Definitely more productive than sitting on the sofa watching tv.

Great session again tonight with some good practice at tight cornering skills. Learning something new every time I go!

Not compulsory, Becca - but if it's wet, your clubmates will appreciate it if your rear wheel isn't hosing them down.
And this is an observation that holds good for all club-rides in the winter...

Reminder that tonight is the fast session (grrr..) at Herne Hill, from 7pm
Forecast looks good, so pending any change tonight's road bike session will go ahead as planned (No Paul Mills this week however)

It'a the FINAL roadbikes training session at Herne Hill Velodrome this WEDNESDAY FEB 25Th - and it's Intermediate pace. Track virgins (if there are any left) please turn up at 7pm sharp for a short induction. The main session starts at 7.15pm with lights down at 9pm. I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank all those who gave their time to help organise and run these sessions, especially Steve Sorba, Charlie Codrington, Alan Strang and Jon Maher - and a hat-tip to Paul Mill at Elite for the gratis coaching sessions he ran for the Advanced group.
We'll be back in October for more winter, all-weather, floodlit, turning left-type track training fun.

Second DJB's thanks to all that organised these sessions. They are a really good reason to get outside on a week night in winter, without having to battle cars in the dark and wet up polhill.
