James S thanks for letting me know - sounds good, not really my thing but the best of luck with it!

great idea, will be there in Feb. Second Mo's post about all these good race team initiatives, it already makes us feel more like a team than a group of individuals and I'm sure will lead to some good teamwork in races in 2015.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for interest so far. Going to POSTPONE tomorrow's ride until 1st February. Snow forecast in Biggin Hill around 10am and don't want to start on the wrong foot...
Also want to stress this ride is about group riding skills and neatness so you should be comfortable with the 28kmph average speed rather than fighting for wheels which would make things tricky..
See some of you on 1st I hope!

This is a really good idea and a great way for everyone to learn new skills and teamwork. I'll pop along in February and bash bars with the best of them.
This long 'slower rotation' chaingang is something you see other clubs, and proteasm doing a lot. It gives rider longer to chat, much more shelter and is slightly less 'frantic' than the usual through and off.
It's a thumbs up from me!

Is there going to be an irregular racer ride at any point? If not, I might see if I can make it to one of these.

Have you considered adding more fibre to your diet Matt?

would you be sticking to wider roads for the 2 abreast riding? I get rather nervous about angry drivers when I have done this in the past

We will post a route prior to Sunday's ride. We are trying to keep it as safe/wide as possible given the 2 abreast vibe.
