Don't think so as I've got a cold and don't fancy the EE route if it's going to chuck it down later

Blimey... Well you missed some apocalyptic rain... Going up pitch black Polhill with steamed up and rain splattered glasses and trying to avoid huge lakes across the road was quite an experience - not one I'd want to repeat! Thanks to Tim who kindly left the fast pack to accompany me!!

Is Elmers End still happening or is it too dark these days?

Is there a "steady" group on Wednesdays at the moment, or just fast and fastest? Haven't been to CG since last summer!

The Wednesday Chaingang runs all year switching to the winter route when it gets too dark to get to Polhil in the gloaming.
It's up to the people there to organise themselves into slower and faster groups according to how many people turn up and what sort of speed they want to ride at.
Alternatively there will be the Wednesday road bike sessions at HHV which start on October 7th. See relevant thread.

I'd planned to attend tonight and I'm pretty sure I'd be going steady pace! Do people usually meet at 7?
