Dulwich Paragon Sri Lanka training camp - last few places!
We now have thirteen people on each of the Sri Lanka training camps and if you have been thinking about joining us, we have a couple of places left on each trip. This will be the second time the club has been to Sri Lanka and these training camps are both a holiday of a lifetime and the best cycling you will ever get abroad. The trips are fully supported with two vehicles, a professional tour guide (Vernon) and a ride leader (Medonza - former winner of the Tour of Sri Lanka). We will ride on great roads, fast and super smooth, with some flat days and some incredible mountain days with up to 20km climbs to match anything you will see in the Alps or Pyrenees. We will visit six UNESCO World heritage sites and ancient temple sites. We will cycle through three national parks, seeing elephants while on our bikes and we will go on a leopard safari and visit a turtle sanctuary. Our trip also includes Asia's largest botanical gardens and a visit to the oldest tea plantation in Asia. What makes these trips very special is that they are also open to partners, as we will finish cycling early each afternoon to allow time to relax by the pool, shop or visit the local ancient sites. The itineraries for these two amazing training camps are attached and if you would like to find out more about anything related to the trips email garymacgowan@hotmail.co.uk .
