Hi,
Two snapped spokes after a crash. Wondering if anyone has any experience of repairing? Or any spares lying around? Front wheel - WH-9000. I think they're 283mm but have little experience of wheel repair. Always prefer DIY but if not it's off to Rat Race.
Thanks.
James

evans sell them I believe. they're pretty scarce and not normally carried by bike shops. You'll do well finding them anywhere in a timely manner unless things have changed !

They're the same rims as far as I'm aware. Not sure of the hub differences.

James I have a front c24 with a worn out rim. Should be able to cannibalise a couple of spokes for you.
Can bring them to Palace tomorrow?

Ian, this would blow my mind. I'll do a full inspection and see if any more have been bent etc. if that's ok?

That's fine. It's the previous incarnation of the wheel but I think the spokes are the same. I'll pick the best ones.

Awesome, I've managed to piece things together and they're 283mm. If I could nab 3 in case of a whoopsie that would be brilliant.

Just an update on this for C24 owners - Iain's 7850 spokes worked fine screwed into the existing nipples on the WH-9000. Thanks!
Just replaced and tightened the two snapped ones and the rim has come into line. Haven't ridden yet but we'll see!

I've just had some spokes bent on a Shimano RS81 C35 rear wheel. SJS Cycles seem to be good for replacement spokes should you need to find some in future.
