Brief one this week - normal Bank holiday weather appears to have put off all races.
Saturday 4th of June - Youth off road and Junior Road ride
Youths - Mark will be leading another off road adventure, weather dependent, either to the Biggin Hills or the Bromley Ice Cream van.
Juniors - Dave will be leading a road ride around your usual favorite haunts - he assures me this will be an easy ride as he’ll be racing on Sunday ……..
Both rides will leave the velodrome at 9.30am and be back at Cafe Paradou around 1.30.
Remember both rides will have sections on the road so normal pack drill required: -
Helmets must be worn
BC HHYCC and/or DP Membership required
Bring spare inner tubes that fit your bike
Wear suitable clothing for the weather
Money for emergency buns
Food and water
The name and telephone number of an adult who can rescue you on a PIECE OF PAPER in your back pocket.
Parents and Guardians - Please be contactable and available to rescue your charge should the need arise.
Sunday 5th June - MTB Regional at Hadleigh Farm
Bit of a good race this one, with extra double BC Mud Points for those keen to bother Manchester. It’s normally a tough course, uses several of the Olympic features but always with B lines for the less confident/brave. Run by MSG - Pre entry has closed but entry on the day is available.
Tuesday 7th June Crystal Palace Crits
Will be held subject to summer arriving. It is important for Juniors and Seniors to note that entry in advance is strongly advised - however if the race is full turn up at sign on promptly at 6 pm, be nice and help that nice Mr Joss Buckley, you MAY get a place.
Youths are excused pre entering - turn up on evening with some money.

Sunday 12th June - Battle of Bowl Cross
This is a new one on me - website drivels on about Gravel meets Cross - which is odd as I thought Cross covered most surfaces, anyway looks a load of fun and Dulwich Cross Team has been entered for some of the rces. Talk to Mark about it or check the website www.cxsportive.com/battle-in-the-bowl-super-cx
