Couple of noteworthy results this week - Congratulations to team Southwark in the London Youth Games and in particular to that young Titan Titouan earning a silver in the Time trial.
Not to be out shone - Ed again pulled a bronze at Palace, narrowly beating Hayden in the final sprint - great result, which somehow didn’t dent his ability to pull my legs off on yesterday’s chain gang.
Returning to the Youth games, thanks must go to all the Dulwich volunteers who gave their time to help run this great event.
Saturday 25th June - Junior Road ride
Dave and I’ll be leading a rain dodging road ride at a gentle pace on Saturday morning - will be heading off in an Easterly direction at 9 am from the velodrome, returning to Cafe Paradou around 1pm.

Sunday 26th June - Southern XC MTB in Winnie Pooh land aka Pippingford
For most of us a new venue, no doubt it will be a fairly muddy experience but the guys at Southern XC know how to put on a decent race (not so sure about their ability on car parking). Anyway- it’s not that far and well worth the trip.
A few up coming events for your diary:
23rd July Dulwich Paragon Footpath Climb
About the only occasion where you’re encouraged to ride on the pavement in club kit, so for that reason alone worth keeping the day free. A light hearted hill climb from Syndenhill Hill Station the Wood House Pub - with prizes for the earnest and not so earnest. Details to follow closer to the day
Sunday 31st July - Rd 5 of UCI Junior Series MTB Hadleigh
www.britishcycling.org.uk/events/details/146584/Hadleigh-Park-International-
I’ll check the entry criteria- but a few of you may be interested in taking part, let me know.
18th - 25th August Great Britain Cycle Coaching Summer Camp
Hands up, may be too late but Darren Williams (fellow DP coach) has let me know he has a few placed free on this summer camp, designed for talented 11 – 17 year old cyclists and triathletes and this year it is being held in the heart of classic Tour de France territory, in Aubeterre, South West France.
The base for the camp is a large country house with huge gardens, surrounded by beautifully maintained country roads that barely see a car all day. This is where you will do most of our cycling.
Swimming, running, racing (and some relaxing) will be at places like the amazing Lac Jemaye Regional Park, just 20 min drive away.
It priced at £ 350 fully inclusive - if you’re interested get in touch with me pronto.
