I'm riding tonight. If you notice a has-been dangling off the back with bags under his eyes and heart rate @95% max, that'll be me.
Looking forward to getting 'owned' by you tonight Steve!

I'll either be at the chain gang or track league tonight. Still to be decided which will offer less embarrassment after getting spit out the back.

Are we still on the winter route? Must be getting close to being able to ride the summer circuit with a clear evening sky.

Are we still on the winter route? Must be getting close to being able to ride the summer circuit with a clear evening sky. Sunset is still around 7.40pm so I would say winter route. Certainly for the second group. We did a couple of 'Pilgrims' at dusk last year and it didn't feel safe. Especially if you have to stop for a mechanical.

Your Holiness, approximately what time do you arrive at Badger's Mount RAB on the return leg? I might suddenly appear, ninja-like, for the dust-up back to Bromley.

Definitely winter route still, it was properly dark on the way home last week.

After being summarily spat out the back last week I am also aiming to try again tonight, but possibly will not make the 7.15 set off. Will aim to join in for the return home.

There will be an intermediate ladies chaingang group this week; pace will be constant and tempo pace i.e. not too hard (I have a TT on Friday I need to not be destroyed for...) and we'll ride together as a little group. Perfect for any ladies wanting to try out the Weds night chaingang or guys welcome who will keep with the pace of the group. We'll leave 7pm from outside Cadence and 7:15pm sharp from Elmers End. So far we have me, Debs, Katie and Jo. Is still winter route and bring lights absolutely noone will get dropped.

I go straight from work...just leave a rucksack of stuff there to pick up the next day and fit essentials in back pocket. Rememeber to have a sandwich or something not long before leaving...makes a big difference as you'll get back after about 9pm.
