Hi all This is a really interesting insurance model, and I know some members have been really happy with them. There's a possible upside, in the form of cash-back to the club, if there's a decent level of interest www.laka.co.uk/clubComments please

Hi Patrick, I know someone who works at Laka who by chance is actually a member of the club. I'm sure he'd be happy to provide some more info to the committee if you'd like me to ask?

Thanks Joe. I’ve been dealing with Jonathan Ramm, who is their Partnership Lead

I'm about to renew my cycle insurance cover and am considering Laka. I like their approach, but the quoted premium is pretty high. I'd be really interested to hear about anyone's experience with Laka so far?

I use Laka and no issues with them so far. Although I have made no claims and this is where a good insurance company comes to the fore. They are underwritten by Zurich and their claims commitment is pretty good so I don't have any concerns there.
With a sum insured of approx. £2.5k I usually pay between £12 to £16 per month. This month I paid £16.46 and this can be broken down to: £12.43 cost of claims + £3.11 Laka fees + £1.86 tax - £0.94 recovered costs
Hope that helps.
