This is a really interesting insurance model, and I know some members have been really happy with them. There's a possible upside, in the form of cash-back to the club, if there's a decent level of interest

I'm about to renew my cycle insurance cover and am considering Laka. I like their approach, but the quoted premium is pretty high. I'd be really interested to hear about anyone's experience with Laka so far?

I use Laka and no issues with them so far. Although I have made no claims and this is where a good insurance company comes to the fore. They are underwritten by Zurich and their claims commitment is pretty good so I don't have any concerns there.
With a sum insured of approx. £2.5k I usually pay between £12 to £16 per month. This month I paid £16.46 and this can be broken down to: £12.43 cost of claims + £3.11 Laka fees + £1.86 tax - £0.94 recovered costs
