The club's AGM will be held on TUESDAY NOVEMBER 19, 2019 in the upstairs rooms of the EAST DULWICH TAVERN, 1 Lordship Lane, SE22 8EW
As is customary, the official part of the evening will be short and followed by a social event. There will be a buffet suitable for all dietary preferences which will be FREE. But use this link to sign-up: it's important we know numbers for catering purposes >

The AGM will commence at 7pm sharp with reports on the past 12 months from committee members. This will be followed by the election / re-election of committee members and an opportunity for questions from the floor. Any member is welcome to stand for election to any committee post (except President) as long as they have been a member for 12 months or more, and have a similarly qualified proposer and seconder (Second Claim members do not qualify in either respect) Any application to stand for election must be submitted to the General Secretary at least 7 days in advance of the AGM (by 12/11/2019)
An agenda will be published prior to the meeting. Items for the agenda should be submitted to the General Secretary at least 7 days in advance of the AGM (by 12/11/2019).
There are currently three committee roles to be filled. The most obvious and urgent of which is Racing Secretary. The job entails approx six committee meetings a year; organisation of the club's road-racing promotions (but not Crits or LVRC); attendance at monthly non-members' intro rides, arranging regular racers' meetings; representing the club at regional racing associations' meetings. It will best suit someone with proven racing experience and a desire to encourage, enthuse and support our current racers, whilst seeking to expand the pool of talent. Anyone who would like to take on the job should contact me, or Patrick Hawkins.
The second vacancy is for a Youth Secretary. The candidate will need to undergo a DBS check. For more details of that and what the role entails, please contact me or Charlie Codrington.
The third role - Rides Secretary - is currently under review. More details of that at a later point.
