I have it on good authority that these people do good indoor training sessions crank.londonThey run various sessions, one of which is "PERFORM" DATA DRIVEN INDOOR CYCLING. "Using some of the most accurate bikes in the world PERFORM focuses on the details. If you're serious about cycling, tracking improvements and collecting data this is the class for you. We run programmes that are split into classes with different focuses; hill climbing, power, threshold and VO2 max." The guy who runs it all is a nice chap called Jez, who gave me a bit more info than given on their website "the bikes we use are LifeFitness IC6 indoor static bikes with clip in SPD shoes which we provide. I appreciate that we are not completing simulating a road bike frame and fit but I definitely feel that it is not too far away from that as to make much of a difference - though of course I appreciate that some riders are quite particular about these things. The bars and saddles have a decent range of adjustment vertically and horizontally. The console gives you a range of workout summary data and analysis both during and post workout; you can also pair your phone with the kit to record your session, and there is the functionality to connect a HR monitor" Do go and check them out and/or post up here if you're interested in going to a (presumably free) taster session.
