FREE - Tacx Vortex Smart Turbo Trainer - not working

I’ve had this for about 4 years, and was working fine until a month ago when it just died. I have changed the fuse and power cable, but it does not power up any more. I contacted Tacx who kindly offered to replace the resistance unit for £184.

Not sure what to do with it now. If anyone wants to try and repair it, you are welcome to try. Or It might work ok unpowered as a dumb trainer.
