Well... *sighs* ... here we go again...
Following yesterday's announcement we have no choice other than to suspend ALL club activities and events from Thursday November 5 until December 5 (at the earliest) after when - with any luck and a respectable R - the Saturday and Sunday clubruns, roadbikes and CX training at Herne Hil will resume.
Leaving your home for exercise is permitted - and you can meet one person outside your bubble in public. Maybe this means you can ride with that person... but until it becomes clear and / or British Cycling offer some guidance, stick to solo rides, please. Any updates will be posted here on this thread.
Remember, our public insurance and legal support comes via our BC affiliation - any contravention of their guidance will void that. So I really would rather not receive any emails this time rounmd complaining about groups of our members (allegedly) breaking lockdown rules: let's not give the anti-cycling brigade another stick to beat us with.
Keep an eye on the forum for updates - and above all stay safe.

LOCKDOWN 2.0 UPDATEHere's a link to the latest guidance issued by British Cycling today. I'm sure I don't need to emphasise how important it is - both from a public perspective and to maintain the club's essential support - that you adhere strictly to these rules... but I have...tinyurl.com/y3l52lmuIn response to the new laws coming into effect in England regarding lockdown, British Cycling has released updated guidance for cycling activity in clubs and competition. In light of new national measures being introduced, as of midnight tonight all British Cycling activities and events in England will be temporarily suspended. The suspension will last until Thursday 3 December. Please note that these dates are subject to change depending on how the situation develops in the coming weeks.
