Hi All A friend of mine is completing a really interesting study in biomechanics and crank length and looking for human hamsters for testing. Post below with details. Just to stress its 165cm height or shorter or an inseam of 82.5cm or below - even if you are taller than 165cm, you could have an inseam of <82.5cm.
"I'm doing a study on how crank length affects cyclists shorter than 165cm height or who have an inseam of 82.5cm or below. Volunteers will be asked to visit the lab at St Mary's University Twickenham for a 2hr session some time in June or July. If you would like to participate, or if you have any questions, please contact the lead researcher Emily Chong: 209304@live.stmarys.ac.uk"
Please do contact Em if you fit the bill and you have the time - it is definitely a very interesting area and one which cycling manufacturers tend to take a 'one size fits all' approach in.
