Not quite sure how to write this....as I know many of us knew him, and used his shop in Welling. He looked after my bikes very well over a number of years and I had the pleasure of riding with him several times. He replied to me recently that he couldn't service my bike, as he'd had an operation for cancer, but would be back in touch soon. That says a lot about the character of someone who would always help anyone, at any time. That was the 11th January. I'm very sad to say that he's now passed, and his funeral is at:
Kemnal Park Cemetery Chislehurst BR7 6RR
All are welcome
I know I'll be there, and I hope to see many of you too. It would be a fitting tribute to a wonderful man.

That is such sad news. He was a kind and generous man - to fhe point where you'd almost have to force money on him for the work. A terrible loss - and far too young.
I'll do my best to be there on thr 10th.

Thanks David, I know they'll appreciate it. Should be a goodly number of cyclists there.
