I am planning a trip to Mallorca in April 2006. I will shortly be booking accomodation in Puerto Pollensa for a week commencing on Saturday 22nd. I am aiming to make the trip as affordable as possible and if anyone would like to come along they would be most welcome. For those of you who dont know, Puerto Pollensa is the place most cyclists use as a base when visiting Mallorca and has some useful hills nearby (to about 1400m, maybe not as steep as Anerley Hill but somewhat longer). There will be another UK group out there at the same time containing some of the Avanti so we may be able to tag along with them. The number of places available is not fixed at the moment and obviously will depend on demand, if a lot of people want to go it may be possible to rent extra properties. I was hoping to use Easyjet but they havent yet published their summer schedule (from what I can tell it should come out mid December, if anyone knows otherwise please let me know). Other possibilities are BA & BMI. For budgetary purposes allow £100 for accomodation (less if you share a room), £30 for transfers and whatever for food and flights. To firm up arrangements I will be looking for payments for the accomodation in early December at the latest. Let me know if you're interested.
