I really like Theo and Pier's design - it really says something about the DP as a club. I love the colours and the logo is great - a reminder of where we're always headed for, the first hill on the way out and the last hill on the way home!

Add me to the list of Theo and Pier's supporters. I'd like to reiterate OC's comments/concerns about the typeface and would also like to see the logo bigger, not smaller. Dinner Plate? Too small--I'd like to see it wrap completely around the right-hand side of the jersey.

Really like the Piers/Theo design. The light shorts look great apart from the roundel in the middle. As pointed out by someone - it will look great in a skin suit.

I have concerns about the practicalities of the rondel, whether the screenprinting operates to sufficient tolerences to get the various colors to line up in the right places. Some of the manufacturer's websites warn about this.

I really like the idea and look of the television mast and share the feelings connected to seeing it at the end of long ride, but we're Dulwich Paragon, not Crystal Palace Paragon. I just don't think it fits with the name and I think we would be continously asked why it's on the kit. I also think it could potientially annoy other clubs when racing at Palace as it might seem like we were trying to take ownership of the race.

Sorry have to say I think this is absolute rubbish. And what's wrong with owning Palace? Considering our total dominance of the race this season, we have every justification in claiming Palace as our own.
Perhaps a scone as a logo would be more fitting? I think not

Tosh and piffle. Everyone knows Crystal Palace is just South Dulwich anyway. The Safeways is closing down and they'll be a Farmer's Market in it's place quicker than you can say muddy quail egg. It's would be a cool logo anyway, without even a tower in Crystal Palce.

I'm not in the Paragon, but if you get that pimpy Belgian gear I'll join for sure. It looks brilliant. (BTW, light shorts tend to show up various contours of the nether regions - not pleasant for innocent bystanders)

Sorry to disagree Julian but, I think it's a very fitting logo for us as we do already own crystal palace! How many races did we win there last season, too many to count? If any other clubs have a problem with it, which I doubt, they'll just have to beat us to the finish line. I think it's a great logo as it brings a little bit of humour back to the strip. In my opinion the size of the logo is just right as it is on the designs. Any larger and it'll be making too big a deal of it. As far as blue shorts go, I do really like the look of them. But, I don't want people seeing the hairs on my arse, and I'm sure no-one wants to see them either. With the lycra that pale blue I think it would be inevitable. Unless they can guarantee the shorts won't be see thorugh, my choice is for the black shorts (sorry David). I also think they look a much tidier design without the logos on the backside too. So Bob, whats next in the evolution of the kit? Another meeting or an internet poll? If we have a meeting we should try to get the sportful rep to come along as he could help clear up some of the questions people have?

Everyone knows Crystal Palace is just South Dulwich anyway. Did the Estate Agent tell you that?

Pimpy Belgian gear for me too please. Though I think we should add King Kong to the radio mast in honour of those who refuse to shave their legs (you know who you are) and biplanes buzzing round in memory of Biggin Hill, where we hover perpetually on our way to the North Downs.

I've liked all the designs -- but ultimately the pimpy Belgian gear gets my vote too. I'll go with the light shorts as the colour is just great and black shorts are just so boring... (Parading arsehairs is just good tactics -- puts wheelsuckers off).
More Dulwich Palace tower on the jersey back please!
On a practical note, I reckon there will be manufacturing problems with the current design: multicoloured short ends, logo on inner thigh, rondel on back of shorts... Also, will the printing resolution show off the logo properly?

As we seem to be speeding in a growing echelon towards the Piers/Theo designs, I'd like to add my vote to the light-blue short option. Come on... we can't advocate a fairly radical re-design and then bail out on it by playing safe with the black shorts. Browsing through pictures of riders in similar colours (i.e. Gerolsteiner), I haven't spotted anything that anyone need worry about in terms of see-throughness or off-putting discolouring (looking at riders crotches for 'research purposes'? I ask you...). Check out Vino winning the Tour stage in the Alps this year wearing his Kazakh champ kit: he'd just done a two-up with Botero over the Galibier with the Discovery Team chasing... if ever there was a situation for dodgy stains to show, I'd say that would be it. Double-checking with Sportful wouldn't hurt.
Maybe if people are still feeling a little uneasy with their dignity, and there's still an issue about the placement of the logo roundel we could kill two birds with one stone and place it at the centre/front of the shorts. I, for one, would welcome the BBC's proud erection just there. Especially with big sparks coming out of it.

Seems like almost everyone I've talked to over the weekend like the idea of the Belgian style kit of Piers and Theo, with the light blue shorts getting the vote every time.
When's the next club meeting due Bob? It'd be good to get the Sportful rep to come along then, he'd be able to show us some samples and run through any potential problems with making the design work. It would also be good to get an idea of numbers before then. How about running a poll to see how many will order the new kit?
