Wallowing in bed, no Sunday ride?
Oh well, I've had to make do with riding powder today, the snowy kind, not the stimulant! Oh and some very sweaty sessions on the turbo, it's been too cold to do it outside -16C until it warmed up today and reached the balmy temperature of 0C.
Julene is still very attached to her corset, but I think it's just the Velcro. No sale yet, but look out on ebay in about 6 weeks time.

Roberts, I forbid you to bid for that corset. It wouldn't complete your Al Capone look for a start, and would only cause more pain and suffering for Julene.

Your absence was noted at Herne Hill today Mr Roberts. It is one-nil to Anne, following a race where there were never more than around 10 seconds separating us. I couldn't have been trying hard enough though, as I still appear to have some reproductive organs attached to my body. I only managed to knock Anne off once, which wasn't enough to secure victory in the 'club championship'. We were only lapped by the two leaders once - which I suppose isn't too bad. And we beat the first woman, although it's probably a good job the winner's little sister wasn't riding or she would have whooped us.

Gelukkig nieuw jaar to all of you, including those in the French Alps.
A little tip for the new year: get yourself a 'cross bike as soon as possible. This sport is seriously good fun.
Phil, we just made the top ten! Well done.

Anne, are you still drunk from New Year or is that your native tongue?
