That is Simon Burney's book you daft old git! Where are your reading glasses? I thought you were being a bit generous offering to give it away!

I've ordered a copy off Amazon so I'll be fully instructed by the start of next season. Just out of interst, I know you guys will be fully focused on the road calendar over the summer but will you have any time to go out to Mitcham for a dust up? I get a feeling those skinnier tyres are going to be a lot different from the MTB ones I am used to and I might need some practice.

I'm sure we could accommodate the odd bit of practice... the main points that you'll really find useful to practice are dismounting and remounting the bike. It's one of the areas which can really cost you time in a race.

I think there could be some scope for training at Herne Hill over the summer while the track league is on. It's being discussed - i think they want £2.50 per rider, but that's it. Could be handy and fun - race palace tuesday, then do CX skills training on weds as a recovery day.

Ooo, that sounds good. I've mountain biked around HH and there's some good training to be had there for the more technical stuff.
