PRO CYCLING NUTRITION Hi Bikefuel has developed a new recovery supplement, specifically designed for high performance cyclists who are following an intensive training regime. If Dulwich Paragon CC has high performance riders, I am writing to ask for your help. Please would you take a look at this cutting edge supplement and forward the link to your top racers within the club so that they can consider it. www.bikefuel.co.uk/recovery-formula-130-c.aspThanks very much. I had a look at this website...thought, mmm...could be worth trying?...then I did some quick maths:
Suggested serving = 3 scoops (after exercise) 1 scoop = 15g (therefore 3 scoops = 45g) 240g container = £29.99, therefore...you'd be scoffing £5.62 after EVERY training ride?!
Don't know about the rest of you, but I'm finding this sport pricey enough so far what with the rather high entry fees combined with transport, nutrition, spares, massage, etc...

Milk is one of the best recovery drinks, and it's cheap!

Milk is one of the best recovery drinks, and it's cheap! Even cheaper if you have your own cow!

It's 15g per serving (3 X 5g), so it's only about £1.88, not £5.62, but still a bit steep for my liking...
