...coming up fast! Barely a few days to go in fact. Many, many thanks to all those who have volunteered, even if only tentatively. You should all have received an email with a link listing all the jobs that need doing and who - hopefully - is doing what on Sunday 5th March: www.dulwichparagon.com/DP2006jobs.htmPlease do take a look through to check I have gotten everything right and to see what time you need to get there. I'm hoping to leave people largely to their own devices to arrange lifts out (the list marks who I think is taking a car down). The message thread is probably the ideal place to start... Bear in mind that I will be leaving at the crack of dawn and will be loaded up with vast amounts of food and an aged - but sprightly - parent (!) so will be no good for lifts! If your name does not appear on the list and you are keen to come down (the more people we have, the jollier it is for everyone!) then please do email me at bobski@email.com and I'd be delighted to sort you out something to do. Allow an hour and a half to drive down from south London; about three hours to cycle down. I'm guessing there should be a gang of people riding down, probably aiming for an 8am start. There should be plenty of lifts back. The location of the HQ is: Homewood School Tenterden, TN30 6LT www.wallygimber.freeserve.co.uk/primcourse.htm

I will have one space in my car. Will be aiming to get down there about an hour before kick-off.

I had considered riding down but I see that I'm supposed to be there by 10am, so if you don't mind I'll drive. Does mean that I'll have room in the car for a couple of passengers on the way down and space for one bike on the way back. Maybe sort out the details over pudding on Thursday.

freudian slip I guess!!! yes a lift would probably be better - although my bike does need a new life what with the horrors of a fused seatpost in a carbon frame (Warranty job).
With such a crappy start to this year I could definitely do with a jump start on the life front!
I'll be the down trodden looking fella at cafe.

If you want to ride out but don't fancy riding all the way I'm going to get the train to Tonbridge. See the thread in the Rides section. -- Phil Cook

Gus - could I maybe grab one of those spaces coming back please? Would there be room for a bike or is that pushing it?

crikey - it's not a good week for me is it!
Sorry Guy - a bit of a typo there - obviously it would help if I directed my request for a favour to the right person!

It's not a big car but yes, there is room for a bike laid down in the back. No room for any other passengers, though, and not much room for your legs. Hopefully you've got little ones. As no one else seems to need the ride, it looks like you and your bike are sorted. If we leave at 9 we should get there in plenty of time.

Nice one Bob. First class organisation, apart from not arranging a new a pair of legs and lungs for me after 3 laps. All that is needed for next year is a full road closure. Preston must have been having heart palpitations at some of the riding today, especially with the number of hill-billies in 4*4 going the way. Being lined out down the right hand gutter of an 'A' road was certainly pretty hairy.
