Just a quick question if I want to enter palace EOL, what time would I have to be there to stand a good chance of being first in?
Thanks Adam

I'd suggest as close to 6pm as possible - except for any night where I'm also trying for EOL, in which case please don't show up until 7pm! Actually, this week there was plenty of EOL and even those who cut it fine still got a ride. (Not guaranteed of course)

The queue starts at about 5.45. Usually headed by VCL's Fred Wright who does his homework while waiting for sign-on to open! I don't think anyone has been turned away, apart from Race 1 when a greater percentage than usual of the pre-registered riders claimed their places. But as Jon says - earlier the better, but no guarantees. And the first 3 EoL pleaces are reserved for women.
