Saturday 27th February - Youth and Junior Road Rides
2 rides this Saturday:
Juniors - Dave is suffering from Cross withdrawal and will be leading a Roubaix style road ride, he claims there will nothing that you lot can’t all handle with ease - but expect some rougher road surfaces. Suitable for road bikes approx 50 miles at a steady pace, start at the velodrome at 9.30
Youths - Mark will be leading an off road ride, suitable for both MTB and Cross bikes, leaving the velodrome at 9.30 am.
Rides will be on the road or part on road so normal pack drill:
Helmets must be worn
BC HHYCC and/or DP Membership required
Bring spare inner tubes that fit your bike
Wear suitable clothing for the weather
Money for emergency buns
Food and water
The name and telephone number of an adult who can rescue you on a PIECE OF PAPER in your back pocket.
Parents and Guardians - please the contactable and available to rescue your charge should the need arise.
Thursday evening BC Cluster sessions
These sessions run by BC continue and are suitable for all youth A and B riders and come highly recommended if you want to race this year. Meet at the velodrome at 7.15 for a 7.30 start. Remember to bring a completed parental consent form (download from the youth section on the Dulwich Forum) and the £3 levy.
Wednesday Evenings from March 9th onwards
I’ll be leading a Junior Chain Chain following the traditional Chain route from Elmers End to Hog Hill and back- more details to follow.
