There will be a chaingang group heading out slightly earlier tomorrow; 6:50 leave Cadence, 7pm meet and leave Elmers End usual place by the garage) on this consisting of non-racing types. I have been doing a bit of pre-work on the email to ensure we have a reasonably equally paced group. I spent the last two 'Weds DP Chaingangs' on my own because the pace is just a bit too fast for me...so this will be a workout, but we shouldnt be dropping anyone. Est. pace is between 27-29kph (it is a pretty flat course) aka intermediate pace.
So far we have: - This week is: Me, John T, Emma F, Ben, Dan, James, - Possibles: Emma R (if recovered), Sara (you'll be fine!), Ian (if out of work in time), Alice (if can make it for then), David (if can get there in time), Jeremy Pearce and Katy Murphy (David said you'll be coming!) - Another time: Hector, Chris, Joe & poss Cathy, Karen et al, Jeremy, Tom, Debs.
If you think you'd like to join us and the pace and plan seem to fit, please meet us there. Inevitably there may be some last minute problems for some people but I'm hopeful we have enough people to have a good little group.

As last week went well, we're going to do it again tomorrow. As before, heading out slightly earlier; 6:50pm leave Cadence, 7pm meet and leave Elmers End (usual place by the garage) consisting of non-racing types. Some of the guys from last week are coming again, so we should have a reasonably equally paced group. As last week this will be a workout (hopefully will be a little faster than last week now people know what they are doing), but we shouldnt be dropping anyone. Est. pace is between 26-28kph (it is a pretty flat course) aka intermediate pace.
If you think you'd like to join us and the pace and plan seem to fit, please meet us there. Kathryn

Kathryn Hi kathryn - I've been off the bike in anger for ages (and not done a chain gang for an eternity) and no longer racing so will join you, if that's ok?

Hi Kathryn, Ive not been to this session with the club before but would like to come along tonight. Im a little familiar with chain-gangs from Regents Park where I train solo, but inevitably get involved with other riders as you do. Just looking to improve group riding skills and have a little work out. Hope this is ok, I'll aim for Cadence at 6.50pm. Mike

Hi Mike and Paul, will be good to have you along. I just wanted to confirm Paul, is not a slow Chaingang...so I'll leave you to judge your current speed. Should be a good workout for two hrs for intermediate paced riders. As a guide for people who do Ride London in about 5hrs as apposed to the faster group who would do it in about 4-4.5hrs. hope to see you later. Kathryn
