yes, that sounds like a plan Paul. I'm guessing A24 to dorking. maybe meet by the junction of the A24 and south circular (south end of Clapham Common) at 7.30am. this is if there are enough folk (4+) to do the octopus and someone has a working Garmin (mine won't show maps, but I'm working on it). I'll check back on this forum this evening and keep an eye on the weather

Hey! I'd would like to do a hilly ride on Sunday and thought of joining you but realise that you'll probably all be a good deal quicker than me (I'd usually ride between 23-25kph). I wouldn't want to upset the group dynamics but also don't know how big the difference might be. Any thoughts?

I'll meet you guys at Dorking station, there is a train that gets in at 8:54...Does that work? You're still planning on 9am there? I'll get on at Raynes Park my local station. I have a Garmin and will load the route earlier in the thread, but also not super speedy up hills so I suspect we'll do some of them at our own pace and keep crossing paths...Is that how it worked last time or did all try and ride up all together and keep waiting?

Javier, I haven't done the route before, but it is c.60m with c.5000ft climbing, so I imagine it will take a good 5 hours or so.
Katia, come along! There are 7 confirmed so far, so we can always separate out into groups depending on how we get on. For myself, I am happy to go faster or slower (though limited training means that the latter may be forced upon me...)
I will not be joining Roger and Paul's ride out to Dorking - I will be coming by car from out of London, so will see you all at the station at 9am. Weather wise, I suspect we will have some showers but the main rain is due to set in later on in the day - another good reason to try to start pronto while the weather is good.
Will check back in later, but otherwise see you all bright 'n' breezy in the morning.

Great ride today - thanks all (and especially to Kathryn for bring not one but two Garmins with the route). Keen to try it again sometime - hopefully when it's a bit drier, both in the air and underfoot (/wheel)
