We have 4 splendid teams comprised of the Creme de la Creme of South London's Cyclo Cross Riders. Dougie Fox promises an awesome course with some "new little exciting bits that you'll love", so its something to look forward to
Blue Titan
Beth Hodge Al Strang Luke Levett Rob Drake
Blue Blood
Charlie James Corlett Jono Maher Alex Ioannides
Blue Steel
Joe Booth Mary Montgomery Chris Bedson Axel Waldecker
Blue Lightning
Dave Rees Ed Davies Stuart Lynn James Malone
Important bits -
1. Race starts at 1 pm - which means you must arrive by Midday at the latest, with a large field count of sign on being a tediously long bunfight. 2. You have been entered and your place paid for - you are now committed to race, excuses need to be very very good to accepted. 3. Did I mention? turn up on time - address is Gt Walstead School, Lindfield, near Crawley.

Right, I stocked up on the Day Nurse yesterday and am about to order an ankle brace from Wiggle.
I can drive and give a couple of lifts as well if needed.

Please to announce we have the 5th team entered - 'Blue Youth' which as the name suggests will have lower average age than the other teams senior, thus will be racing in the earlier race starting at 12.10.
If you arrive in time on Sunday - go and give them your support.

And of course, cake! Attachment Deleted(Cake Decorating skillz courtesy of Beth) Thanks for all the Blue team groupies for the Encouragement/Heckling/Cowbells during the race too Attachment DeletedA great team day out in the mud - some wonderful team comradery, lot's of cunning stunts, the occasional faceplant, some creative dismounts, and of course hard racing. What a way to finish the season. Attachment DeletedHands up for Cross League 2017/18?

And despite our best efforts, the best placed Dulwich team ("Blue Lighting") managed to come 4th overall in the race!
Well done Dave Rees, Eddie Davies, Stu Lynn, and James Malone for a stunning result.
To put it in context - the winning team from C&N cycles included a genuine rainbow jersey in the the World Masters CX Champion..

Yes, courtesy of 'Beth'... (Cake Decorating skillz courtesy of Beth) Sorry - cake courtesy of Beth, James, and Badger the dog. (Not sure how much Badger actually contributed to the cake, but he didn't eat it, so that's something..)

Good to have a squad with a 40-year range of ages competing together. And a few more waiting in the wings from the youth race.
