My Cadence sensor stopped working a few weeks ago and I thought maybe it's because the battery has run out. I've had this for about 18 months. Not sure how long they are suppose to last... I'm struggling to get the battery out... any tips?

Looking at the picture your battery appears to be stuck in the lid. My suggestion is get a flathead screwdriver or your best kitchen knife and gently separate it from the plastic lid. It's not glued probably just a little bit stuck. 18months is a reasonable lifetime. Replacement is a CR2032. Good luck!

hi Nancy, i saw the post name and thought you were going to say you were having the same problem as me, which was my cadence sensor keeps telling me the battery is low, despite changing battery 3 times! i fixed it by having my bike stolen also, a strong magnet will do the trick and avoids damaging the innards or the battery with knife/screwdriver etc.
