A friend of mine (Bryan Hill - some of you will know) is selling a couple of bikes. I can vouch for the Guerciotti, it's barely been used and looks fantastic. It did have the honour of doing the Dulwich Hill climb one year!
Details from Bryn below:
Two bikes for sale - a Guerciotti Record retro steel build, and a Planet X Kaffenback gravel/touring/cross/winter bike. They live in the Newbury, but can deliver to motorway services along the M4 from Swindon to Slough way.
The Guerciotti:
Cost New
Guerciotti Record, 55cm, Blue £300
Campagnolo Veloce, 2012, 10sp, silver, 50-34, 12-25 £345
Pro-Lite Bracciano Wheelset 2012 - Pair F&R Silver - Campag £315
Selle San Marco Regal Saddle with Carbon Steel Rails Bronze Rivets Honey Brown £60
SystemEX Polished Seatpost £18
SystemEX Quill Stem, 100mm / Stem Bar Mounting: 26.0mm £15
SystemEX Road Bar Silver / Road Bar Size: 42cm £20
Shimano STI Pair Of Cable Stops Steel Frame £5
Cinelli Milano Anodised Road Handlebar End Plugs Silver £5
Fizik MicroTex Bar Tape Brown Honey £10
Conti Gatorskin 23mm + tubes £50
Carradice Classic Alston Saddlebag - 0.5Ltr £40
Total build cost just under £1200. It's a few years old but less than 500 miles on it, was built for recovery/cafe rides in good weather. Ideal for those lazy days when the race bike would be overkill. Mix of a reasonable steel frame, excellent wheels, lower end Campag group set and then other bits bought as they fitted the look. Couple of tiny paint chips, slight scuffs and wear on saddle (mainly from leaning on walls), some scratches on seatpost from getting the height correct. Pedals thrown in if you want them, older Look Keos. Definitely looks the part and rides really nicely too.
Looking for £700 ono
The Kaffenback (medium)
It's a bike, steel, bit heavy, has guard and rack mounts and cable discs. Was my winter training bike for a couple of years until I bought something nicer. Built like a tank and copes well with terrible roads. Currently set up as a singlespeed with cross tyres but I'll include dropouts for geared use. Avid cable disc brakes (BB7s I think, could be BB5s). Pretty good condition considering the amount of use. I could list the parts but it's been cobbled together so not really worth it. Full geared build (with low end groupset) was £1000 new.
£200?
