Hello hello
The husband of a friend is doing his coaching qualifications and is running some sessions over the next 3 weekends in SW London. Blurb below (I'm going to the middle one). He says "It's aimed at building confidence and skills, so might not be appropriate for some of the more ninja riders (!) , but happy for anyone to come along!"
Here's more detail from him:
"I am currently doing my Level 2 British Cycling Coaching Course, and as part of the course I need to deliver some cycle coaching. I've therefore planned a course which will give you the skills and techniques to ride safely in London, improves your bike handling skills, give you the confidence to get out on training rides, and hopefully take part in events such as Ride London 100.
The key details are:
· 3 sessions, about 1½ hours – 2 hours each, on a Sunday morning starting at 10 am
· Dates: 11 Mar, 18 Mar, 25 Mar
· Location - Aspire Centre, Southfields, SW18 5JU
· No cost – all free!
All you need is a working bicycle, helmet and suitable clothing based on the weather. It is not necessary to attend all three sessions, so if you can only make one or two, no problem. I’ve also completed a Fundamentals of Movement course, so I’ll be able to give you advice on movement skills, warm ups that promote movement skill development, and body weight exercises that work on core strength.
If you’re interested in signing up, please get in touch on the details below, and happy to answer any questions.
Thanks,
Rob

Thanks! My wife who's just got a new road bike enjoyed today's session and hopes to make it to one of the others.
