We are hiring one of these for our trip at end June and I think it'd be really useful to be able to go and look at one and also find out if the rear seats are removable, and if so, what tools we'd need to do that. Does anyone have one or know anyone who does...or work in a car hire place who have these? Failing that, anyone know this make & model really well and able to advise? Thank you!
p.s. I also know we might turn up and they give us a completely different vehicle, but we can but try!

Do you know how many rows of seats there are in the hired one? The one advertised when booking is rarely the one you get on the day.
For info, last year we hired one and easily managed to fit 5 people and 5 bikes.

We need to fit in all our luggage for the week though and also a bike or three.

Twelve luggages and few bikes, sounds unlikely. If most people ride, you definitely want to find one with only one row of seats.

We'll all be packing light so I think the luggage should all fit fine on one row of seats...all bike boxes etc are being left at the start/finish....so is only the driver's bike and then space for one or two in case of troubles. Agree we'd be keen to remove one set of seats (and leave at start) so would be good to check we have the right tools with us to do this.
