Good turnout on Sunday for the second foray to Brighton and more good results too. Also well done to those who rode, walked, clambered, trudged and crawled up and over three hills in the dales at the Three Peaks Cyclocross challenge. IMPORTANT: Note that Wednesday is the new Tuesday! Skills will now be at the velodrome every Wednesday evening! WEDS: Skillz n Drillz at the velodrome. As mentioned above, we're now at HHV on Wednesday evenings for skills. You need to sign up via the link below. Its a one-off payment of £10 which helps cover the cost of hiring the venue but that does cover all sessions. Meet at HHV for 7.30pm start. 9pm finish. All welcome. Register here please: www.riderhq.com/events/80960/wednesday-night-cyclocross-trainingTHURS: Off-road chaingang - TBC. Usual rendezvous point at Elmers End, 730pm. SATURDAY: Saturday Cross ride. Meet down at the velodrome, 9am for a 9.15am depart. Return to CP for coffee and chips by 1pm. As always, all welcome. Also, if you can lend a hand, it would be great if we can get a few bodies down to HHV to help Herne Hill Youth setup the course for Sunday. Setup from c.1pm. SUNDAY: London & SE League Round 5 - HERNE HILL VELODROME It wouldn't be a proper season of CX without a visit to HHV. With its mix of bumpy grass, tight n twisty trails, the Herne Hill Youth heckling squad and Big Bob to scale, it's one of the most popular races on the calendar and a great atmosphere too! Usualprotocol, online entries via RiderHQ and EOL on the day - remember, if you want to be gridded like a pro you need to pre-enter! Cut-off is usually Friday.
