From this weeks Essex Chronicle Cycle Rage A MOTORIST had a wing mirror ripped off his car by a furious cyclist he had passed near South Woodham Ferrers. The 22 year old driver from South Woodham passed the cyclist along Creephedge Lane, between South Woodham and East Hanningfield, but came under attack shortly afterwards when the bike caught the car up. the cyclist ripped the offside door mirror from the black Ford Fiesta, attempted to rip off the other, and abused the driver. The cyclist is described as a white male, about 40 years old, 6ft tall, of stocky build and grey-shaved hair. He had a tight red cycling top, green cycling shorts and a white and black mountain bike. Anyone with information about the incident, which occured at 4.10pm on August 15, should contact PC Nathan Suley at South Woodham Ferrers police station on 01245 491212.
