Just under two weeks to go to our club's open road race promotion. As mentioned in the post a few weeks ago, I'm gonna be getting into "arm twisting" mode from now on... Many thanks to those who have volunteered to help. BUT we need many more! If you can come along and drive a car / wave a flag / change a wheel, etc. please do let me know. Start time is 12 noon, but we will need people down there from 10am onwards. The HQ is the usual place, Homewood School in Tenterden ( Ashford Road, TN30 6LT). Lots more info on the homepage of the main club website: www.dulwichparagon.com

Bob
I am able to marshall on the Primavera if you are still looking. I can drive a car, wave a flag (preferably not at the same time!) but changing a wheel under the pressure of racing,I might pass on that. Let me know.

Happy to do the usual bend but need a team of at least 4 to manage the traffic properly. Would the smooth talking Mr Ann like to help with his motorist charming technique again?

I am applying my smooth talking skills at home but my 2 month old daughter seems to be completely insensitive to my charm and demands constant attention. Will try to apply gentle pressure, such as not changing a nappy for a few hours or withholding a feed, to get her to agree to come out.

I've booked a place in Andy's car so that I get to listen to race radio and perfect my non existent 'quick wheel changing' technique. If I'm more use on a bend I'll happily oblige. Unlike Mr Anne, my daughter quite likes the yellow bibs not to mention the red flags so she should be along too.

Thanks to everyone for the offers of help. I will put together a list of jobs shortly and post up, followed by a link and a final email round to cover this and a few other things.

Bob count me in, I can bring the van down if that is useful, other wise will take the the car. I will have the little people people with me, any chance of marshalling the Appledore corner as it is near the swings and roundabouts.

Charlie - I may have my youngest along too so it looks like Dulwich creche corner. Bring plenty of Top Trumps & in car entertainment as the forecast is rain.
