A good friend of mine is competing in a triathlon in 4 weeks time and needs a road bike for the cycling part.
I said I would ask if anyone in the club has a spare road bike she could borrow/hire.
She is around 5ft 3in /5ft 4in tall so I guess a fairly small frame size would be best.
Anyway if anyone can help that would be great.
Many thanks Daniel

She can borrow my cannondale. Its tiny so will fit and has 650 wheels so is great at going round corners at high speed
We're off on holiday on 12 July for a couple of weeks so she'll need to collect before then. I'll also need a little time to give it a clean as its filthy

Thanks so much Karen, I'll speak to Kat (my friend|) and sort out a convenient time for you for her/me to come and collect it.
Where are you going anyway?
Thanks again.

That sounds lovely, but better food than Kent, come on Karen. Have you ever been to Blue Bengal in West Wickham? It is fully licensed and air conditioned and until October they are doing a 2 for 1 offer (on selected dishes - drinks excluded). www.bluebengalrestaurant.co.uk/

Are you going to be thanking Blue Bengal in West Wickham next time you have to make a victory speach after a SERRL win?

No but maybe I could ask to see if they'd be up for that?
I did hear a few years ago the club approached the CSG about awarding a free Pain au chocolat for every BC point won. A self governing equalizer system of sorts.
They weren't interested.
