So we come to the zenith of the classics season and with it a little homage to der Ronde. There will be ups, downs, lefts, rights and the odd straight bit as well plus plenty of the fabled South London Pavé. Meet 9am at the velodrome and aiming to be at the Paradou Performance Centre around 2pm(ish). Suitable for road or cross bikes with road tyres (we will be venturing onto less-than-billiard-smooth surfaces – maybe leave the ultra-light carbon race steed with wafer thin carbon tubs at home!). Bring spare inner tubes... and maybe a sense of humour! D

Why don't you finish the ride at the velodrome Dave?
There's an open race on Saturday - the new pavilion is open, and there'll be beer, hot food, and tunes.
Plus you can cheer on the DP racers. In fact, everyone should come down!

I'll suggest the Saturday Newbies ride leaders come back to the velodrome - might whet a few appetites for the track.
