Saturday 20th May
I will be leading an off-road MTB ride this Saturday – aimed at the stronger Juniors and adults, we will be hacking along the Woldingham loop at a brisk pace. The clue is in the name – it’s a circuit out and back to Woldingham, once we get the woods near West Wickham is totally off road with some decent descents and a couple of tricky ascents. Approx. 30- 35 miles suitable for both MTB’s and CX bikes.
Those that prefer the tarmac should join one of Dulwich Saturday ride groups.
Meet at the velodrome at 9 am – aim to be scoffing chips in Café Paradou by 1pm.
Parents/Guardian note - there will not be any coaches on the steady ride, however there are loads of responsible adults who I'm sure will look after your charges. You need to be contactable and able to rescue your charge should the need arise. Riders should introduce themselves to the group at the start.
As ever, preparation is key, do a proper bike check prior to turning up (including brakes) ensure you have inner tubes, money, drink, some food and your rescuer's telephone number on a piece of paper in your back pocket. HHYCC or DP and BC membership required.
