RACING NEWS
No doubt inspired by Elliot and Ed's achievements over the last couple of seasons and keen to join them at Palace in the E12s, Oliver has managed rack up some good results and is now a bonafide roadie of the 2nd order! He's efforts are all the more impressive when you consider he's currently training to be a pirate so has been spending considerable lengths of time out at sea – apparently there's not much cycling going on out there! Well done and keep up the good work.
SATURDAY 3RD JUNE
We'll tag along with the Saturday DP road ride this week and maybe venturing down to Pilgrims or up and over Ide Hill.
Meet at the velodrome at 9 am – aim to be scoffing chips in Café Paradou by 1pm.
As ever, preparation is key, do a proper bike check prior to turning up (including brakes) ensure you have inner tubes, money, drink, plenty of food and your rescuer's telephone number on a piece of paper in your back pocket. HHYCC or DP and BC membership required.
