See below. Dan is a friend of a friend. He's a great guy and his is a unique and interesting take on group turbo training. For example he's created a virtual race using the Wally Gimber circuit.
He's looking for expert guinea pigs to test his product. If interested, please contact him directly....
Urban Cycle Club trial for Dulwich Paragon Urban Cycle Club (UCC) is a new business, opening in Clapham Junction in November 2017. It is designed to be an indoor cycle training facility using real road bikes, top of the range direct-drive turbo trainers and a variety of software to provide a realistic and accurate indoor training experience. We are looking to organise some informal sessions for suitable clubs throughout September and October to help us refine and practise some of our planned sessions before opening to the public in November. We would like some feedback on both our bike (we have had a bike made with adjustable saddle and handlebars to accommodate riders of different heights) and software (for both training and racing). We would like to come and set up a station locally (HH Velodrome has been suggested) and invite a few riders to come and spend a few hours with us. We would in return be happy to provide some free use of the studio for a group ride when it is open. If you would be interested in taking part please contact me as follows to discuss and arrange: Dan Morgan 07841 906674 dan.morgan260781@gmail.com

Had a nice chat with Dan. He says he could still squeeze in a couple more people if they email him
It certainly sounds like an interesting project with a lot of RnD going into it

I gather from Dan that a few Dulwich members are heading along for the Urban Cycle Club pre-launch ride on Wednesday 22nd at 7:30 (including me). He has a few places left, if of any interest... docs.google.com/document/d/1C7qqlPhdSDa1FQzot7ia1s3hb4IKEPH12rssmIgKZjo/edit?usp=sharing“Urban Cycle Club (UCC) is a new cycle studio, opening in Clapham Junction at the end of November. It is designed to be an indoor cycle training facility using real road bikes, top of the range direct-drive turbo trainers and a variety of software to provide a realistic and accurate indoor training experience. We are organising two pre-launch sessions on Wednesday 22nd November to test the bikes, software and gather feedback ahead of the public opening on Monday 27th November. We are inviting cyclists from Dulwich Paragon CC to come to one of the two sessions and the information is as follows: Wednesday 22nd November 2017 Session 1: 3.00pm-5.00pm Session 2: 7.30pm-9.30pm Each session will involve a short induction (setting up bike, cleats etc and interpretation of software) followed by an example interval training workout (50 mins). We will also be doing a short (probably 20 min) race using other software where you'll be able to ride in 3D and video modes against the other riders. The session will be completely free to attend and there will be a few drinks and snacks available afterwards (to aid recovery...). There are also showers on site. The session will be suitable for riders of all abilities and you will only need to bring shoes (not bike). The studio is located at SW11 1HW, approx 5 minute walk from Clapham Junction tube station. A few 'sneak-peek' photos can be found on our website at www.urbancycleclub.com. We still have a few spaces on each session so if you would be interested in taking part please contact me as follows to discuss and arrange: Dan Morgan 07841 906674 dan.morgan260781@gmail.com
