Brief one this week….
Saturday 7th October
We’ll be heading out to the hills on Saturday to play on some mud and muddy cornering on loose ground.
Usual pack drill, open to all the usual suspects, aged 12 to 80 girls and boys, meeting at the velodrome at 9 am aiming to be back at Café Paradou by 1pm.
Wear suitable clothing, bring water and a drink along with sufficient inner tubes. Please do a bike check today paying attention to your brakes and gears.
Sunday 8th October
CX at Herne Hill promoted by HHYCC. HHYCC members, your help will be required on Saturday afternoon and on Sunday.

Tuesdays BC Cluster training
This is a must for any U12,U14, Junior rider who wants to race. It’s a series of road bike training sessions held on the track run by the best coaches in the region. To put it bluntly, if you want to race seriously make time to go to all these sessions, they are gold dust.
Details on the BC website, or just turn up at 5.45 pm with a £5 and your parent/guardian as Parents consent forms will be required – see last week’s email.
Wednesdays– DP Chain Gangs on the track
It’s the start of the Wednesday evening train season – road bikes on the track and/or Off road CX on the trails every Wednesday evening form 7.30 to 9pm. Open to Juniors and DP members. There’s a £15 charge to cover the sessions (both Road and CX) between now and December which must be paid prior to starting. See the DP forum for details. This week will be a road bike session.

Wednesday: DP Chain Gang at the track, Road session Juniors Only
